Traveling To Disneyland

When I went to Disneyland,
my family never traveled by hand.
We traveled across the land,
but not far away on the sand.

It took about 10 hours,
and it took a lot of car power,
I felt like I crossed the Eiffel Tower,
but finally the hotel room was ours.

I was so relieved when we got there,
it smelled like cotton candy in the air.
I even met Mickey Mouse,
and visited him in his house.

Christine the Turkey

by Chrissy
11/13/12

Dear President Obama,

My name is Christine the turkey and I am concerned about the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.  As a Turkey, the reason for my fear should be obvious.  I don't want to be eaten!  If you pardon me, it will be a great pleasure.  Chicken taste better than turkey.  Plus it is cheaper!
Turkey taste like spaghetti topped off with fried liver.  Maybe you should try jurkey.  That tastes better.  Please pardon all Thanksgiving turkeys like me!  Turkey is a diet food.  You won't feel very full if you eat me.  All my little chicks will starve without me there to take care of them.  You should eat pork the other white meat.  I am pretty ill, so if my guts get inside you, you know what will be coming!  Thank you for reading this and don't eat me for Thanksgiving dinner!

                                                                                Your friend,
                                                                        Christine the Turkey

Feel like a puppy

Today I feel like a puppy.  I feel playful because I am happy.  My life is happy every day without failure.  Being playful means you're in a very good mood.  Puppies are cute and lovable.  Every day they play until they get tired and fall asleep.  I am a puppy sometimes for pretend.

A Surprize Trip

by Chrissy
9/26/12

One day during my summer vacation, I went outside to get some fresh air.  When I got outside I saw my dad packing.  When I asked him why he was packing he just smiled.  He said "It's a surprise."

The next morning my mom woke me up at 6:30am.  I was confused because I am on summer vacation, we usually sleep in.  When I got ready.  I went outside.  My dad said to get into the car.  He said we were going to Great America, but first, we need to go to our hotel.

I was so excited.  When we got to the hotel, I read the sign.  It said "Hilton Garden Inn"  We went in and paid the money.  Then, we settled in and unpacked.  When we finished, we got into the car and I drove to Great America.

I had the best day ever.  It was really fun, I think Great America is a very special place.

The End.

Emily Mittens

There once was a little kitten,
her name was Emily Mittens.
She loved her ball of yarn,
It rolled into the barn,
And there it remains safely hidden.

Julie, the Mermaid

Once upon a time, there was a mermaid named Julie.  Julie could not wait to be eighteen.  Her mother had said that she could see the surface and learn how to stay afloat.  Julie always tried to persuade her mother, but she couldn't.  Every night, she sat in her domain thinking how nice it would be to see the surface.  The night before she turned eighteen, she was sleepless.  Her mom would be like a trainer.  Julie was cooped up beneath the surface.  The next morning, she learned how to stay afloat by repeating a routine.  Julie was so happy.  She had defeated the waves.

The End.

Get These Voices Out Of My Head

Main Idea: A song that is dark.

I can't sleep,
Please help me,
I'm very lonely
but please don't ask me why.

Don't think I'm very shy.
Just get these voices out of my head.

O please do.
I don't even have a clue of why I'm here.
they just go around and around in my head.
I just hope they don't lead to my future.
Please get me out of here.
I'm trapped and can't get out.
Just get these voices out of my head.

O please do.
My house is haunted
and it won't let me out of this nightmare.
Somebody please come rescue me.
Just please get these voices out of my head.

O please do.
My dream is to find a better home.
It has been my destiny for years.
Get these voices out of my head.
I need a better home.
