Christine the Turkey

by Chrissy
11/13/12

Dear President Obama,

My name is Christine the turkey and I am concerned about the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.  As a Turkey, the reason for my fear should be obvious.  I don't want to be eaten!  If you pardon me, it will be a great pleasure.  Chicken taste better than turkey.  Plus it is cheaper!
Turkey taste like spaghetti topped off with fried liver.  Maybe you should try jurkey.  That tastes better.  Please pardon all Thanksgiving turkeys like me!  Turkey is a diet food.  You won't feel very full if you eat me.  All my little chicks will starve without me there to take care of them.  You should eat pork the other white meat.  I am pretty ill, so if my guts get inside you, you know what will be coming!  Thank you for reading this and don't eat me for Thanksgiving dinner!

                                                                                Your friend,
                                                                        Christine the Turkey

Feel like a puppy

Today I feel like a puppy.  I feel playful because I am happy.  My life is happy every day without failure.  Being playful means you're in a very good mood.  Puppies are cute and lovable.  Every day they play until they get tired and fall asleep.  I am a puppy sometimes for pretend.

A Surprize Trip

by Chrissy
9/26/12

One day during my summer vacation, I went outside to get some fresh air.  When I got outside I saw my dad packing.  When I asked him why he was packing he just smiled.  He said "It's a surprise."

The next morning my mom woke me up at 6:30am.  I was confused because I am on summer vacation, we usually sleep in.  When I got ready.  I went outside.  My dad said to get into the car.  He said we were going to Great America, but first, we need to go to our hotel.

I was so excited.  When we got to the hotel, I read the sign.  It said "Hilton Garden Inn"  We went in and paid the money.  Then, we settled in and unpacked.  When we finished, we got into the car and I drove to Great America.

I had the best day ever.  It was really fun, I think Great America is a very special place.

The End.

Emily Mittens

There once was a little kitten,
her name was Emily Mittens.
She loved her ball of yarn,
It rolled into the barn,
And there it remains safely hidden.
